Appointments
The initial appointment is a 90 minute evaluation. It includes an initial conference regarding your concerns, testing and evaluation of those concerns, and a discussion of results and recommendations.

Therapy, consultation or conference appointments are scheduled in either 30 or 60 minute sessions.

Fast ForWord programs take place in the monitored computer lab and are typically two hours per day, five days a week for 6-8 weeks, depending on the program, and also include three 60-minute post-testing sessions.

Appointment times are available between 9 am and 5 pm, except between 12 pm and 1 pm,  Monday through Friday. We do everything we can to accomodate your schedule, but please be advised that late afternoon slots are in the highest demand.

Fees
Initial Evaluation: $222
30 minute session: $74
60 minute session: $148
SpeechEasy Evaluation (3 hour) + two 30 minute follow-up sessions: $444

We offer a 10% discount for 12 one hour or 24 half-hour sessions paid in advance. 

Payment is expected in full at the time of service.

Progress and Reporting
A full report is generated after the initial evaluation and mailed to you, the referring physician and/or any other office you request.

Progress notes are made at every session and a full report generated approximately every three months or after 24 half-hour sessions.

Discharge goals are basesd on mastery of the skills set forth in the evaluation report, usually 90% accuracy over two or three consecutive sessions and/or age-appropriate scores on standarized tests.

Insurance
We will file insurance claims on your behalf for our services, however we cannot guarantee that insurance will cover them. If you are planning to file, please check with your insurance provider to see if, and at what levels, speech and language therapy is covered by your policy and if they require any pre-authorization, referral or certification. 

Be aware that we are considered out of network for most providers. We are not a Medicare or Medicaid provider.

Regardless of your insurance plans, payment are expected in full at the time of service.

Cancellation Policy and Missed Appointments


Appoinments may be cancelled 24 hours in advance without incurring a charge. Appoinments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the half of the session fee; this charge will be waived if you reschedule and attend the appointment within 8 calendar days of the original appointment time.

Missed appointments will be charged in full.
